Calcio e Finanza have compiled a list showing how much each club has spent on salaries relative to the points they have earned this season.

The source reports that Milan basically first among the ‘top clubs’ in Serie A for points won in relation to the salary of the squad, but Spezia are in first place, with a gross salary of around €17m and 32 points for a cost per single point of just over €500k. Atalanta are third thanks to their current fourth place position in the standings achieved with a gross salary of around €39m.

Milan – with a total salary of €80m – are 11th in the ranking as each each point cost €1.27m. The good news is that the Rossoneri are ahead of both Inter, with the current league leaders in 13th at €1.57m spent for each point won. Juventus are in last with a cost of over €3m for each point in Serie A.
