A second consecutive defeat in the league for Milan Primavera, who lost 2-0 to a more clinical Cesena side at Centro Sportivo Romagna Centro. The goals both came in the first half - Giovannini in the 29th minute and then an unfortunate own goal by Nissen on the stroke of half-time, effectively sealing the win on matchday 32 for the Bianconeri. Guidi's side temporarily stay in sixth position in the league, missing out on the chance to reduce the gap between themselves and Juventus and Fiorentina. The Hellas Verona could also have an impact, as they are only two points behind.
The result in Emilia-Romagna was fair. The Rossoneri had their chances, but the home side had further chances to increase the scoreline, hitting the crossbar through Giovannini. The match should be put behind ourselves at the earliest opportunity, especially with what lies ahead. The league - with the fight for the Scudetto Play-Off - there are still many pages to write, but on Wednesday we will feature in the Coppa Italia Final. AC Milan v Cagliari, 15:00 CEST, Arena Civica Gianni Brera (free entry). A chance to make history and pick ourselves back up: let's go lads!

MATCH REPORT The match got into action right away. Within a minute, the Rossoneri went close to scoring through Scotti who hit the post to the goalkeeper's left side. In the 7th minute, Castorri's effort went just over the bar of Longoni's goal. AC Milan proved dangerous with a few efforts from Bonomi and Bakoune, but then the home side hit the crossbar in the 24th minute with a right-footed effort from the edge of the area through Giovannini. The Romagnoli pushed on and score the opener in the 29th minute with a counterattack, Castori provided Giovannini with an assist as he slotted past Longoni. The pressure piled on the Rossoneri and in the 32nd minute, Longoni had to be at full stretch to deny Perini's header. The Romagnoli maintained control of the match and managed to score twice before the break with an unfortunate deflection from Nissen following Manetti's cross.
The Rossoneri started the second half with four changes - Hodzic, Liberali, Paloschi and Perrucci all came on - a big chance for Scotti, similar to the one at the start: a half volley which went just wide. Perrucci shot over the bar in the 50th minute, the last real talking point before Cesena attempted to slow things down and take control of AC Milan's efforts. In the 68th minute, Bonomi took a right-footed shot which wasn't far from the top right corner, while Duțu's effort in the 74th minute didn't result in anything. In the latter stages, the Rossoneri did not stop attacking, but apart from Liberali's chance in the 77th minute and one from Perrucci in the 90th minute, there were no other noteworthy moments, with full-time being called after four minutes of stoppage time.
