Cesc Fabregas enjoyed great success at Barcelona.
The midfielder spent six years at La Masia before joining Arsenal in 2003.
After eight years in north London, Fabregas returned to Barca in 2011 as he completed a €34 million move.
Fabregas was a regular during his three seasons with the Catalan giants.
He played 151 times, hit the back of the net on 42 occasions and helped Barca to six trophies.
While Fabregas is still regarded as a club legend by many Arsenal fans, some were left annoyed by his departure.
And @MarcosBreton, an Arsenal fan, is one Arsenal supporter who has had some stern words for Fabregas.
Back in 2019, Fabregas took to Twitter to post a collection of shirts he had worn during his career.
Fabregas then asked fans which one was their favourite.
The Arsenal supporter responded and couldn’t resist mocking Fabregas’ Barcelona career, writing: “The one where you @Arsenal captain. You traded that to sit on the bench at @FCBarcelona.”
Fabregas saw the fan’s comment and he felt the need to address it.
The legendary midfielder used facts to completely destroy the Arsenal fan’s argument.
He replied: “I started in 121 games out of the 151 I played… I won 6 titles, I scored in 2 finals, won a league of 100 points having played 36 games, 43 goals and 47 assists… but yeah, cool.”
Now that’s what you call the perfect response. Fabregas’ reply has gone viral again after it was re-posted by ESPN.
Now 34, Fabregas is still playing at a high level in Ligue 1 with Monaco.
He has established himself as one of the best midfielders of his generation who will always be highly regarded at every club he played for.
