Cesar Azpilicueta gives telling response when asked about his Chelsea future | OneFootball

We have all seen the many rumours circulating over the last few months regarding club captain Cesar Azpilicueta.

Doubts continue over his future and where that might be as he rapidly heads towards becoming a free agent this summer when his contract at Chelsea ends.

Links with Barcelona keep popping up, and only today the reliable transfer news reporter Fabrizio Romano suggested that Azpilicueta could be soon heading to the Spanish side.

The captain himself spoke on his future today during his press conference for the big game versus Al-Hilal in the Club World Cup tomorrow.

It was always likely that he was going to be asked about his future at the club, and it’s safe to say that he was very coy on it when asked, which for me is rather telling.

It certainly does have a feel right now that the defender could well be leaving Chelsea at the end of the season, nothing is really suggesting otherwise right now unfortunately.
