Cercle Brugge have discovered their potential opponents for either the Europa League or Europa Conference League. Regardless of how they fare against Kilmarnock, they will be set for a trip to Scandinavia. If they win over two legs in the Europa League, they will face the winner of the match between Norway’s Molde FK and Denmark’s Silkeborg IF. Should they lose to the side from Scotland, they will be up against KuPS Kuopio of Finland or Tromsø of Norway. The matches will take place on the 8th and 15th of August.

The clash with Kilmarnock is set to be a lively affair, with plenty of away fans for both legs. The first takes place this Thursday the 25th of July at Rugby Park in Kilmarnock, before the return fixture in Brugge next Thursday. Cercle have been able to keep hold of star striker Kevin Denkey ahead of the clash and are hopeful that he will remain with the club until qualification to one of the two European competitions group stages is confirmed.
