Celtic v Dundee United – team news, KO time, where to watch
The Celtic Star
Celtic return to Paradise this afternoon with Tam Courts’ Dundee United arriving for the Cinch Premiership clash. After the hard-fought win in Edinburgh during the week, Ange Postecoglou’s side will be targeting three points against the Tannadice outfit.
In the two meetings between the sides this season, Celtic were held 1-1 at Paradise before a December visit to the City of Discovery provided an excellent 3-0 win to the Hoops.
Celtic will be without a host of first team players through a combination of injuries and international call ups. Callum McGregor (facial injury), David Turnbull (hamstring), Kyogo (hamstring) and Guchi (ankle) will all miss the game. Mikey Johnston is also a doubt having missed the last two games.
Matt O’Riley, who impressed on debut since arriving from MK Dons, was forced from the field with cramp but he is expected to return.
Christopher Jullien may be looking to make his first appearance since returning from injury. The French defender has been on the bench but hasn’t made it onto the park. This afternoon may be an opportunity for the manager to get Jullien up and running once again.
Predicted XI: Hart; Juranovic, Carter-Vickers, Starfelt, Taylor; Bitton, Hatate, O’Riley, Forrest, Giakoumakis, Jota
The game will kick off at 3pm (Celtic Park time).
The game will be live on Celtic TV for subscribers outside the UK & Ireland. However, the club has confirmed that they will showing the game via a PPV stream.
The game is a sell-out but Season Ticket holders that cannot make it will be able to call upon the Pass to Paradise.
