Celtic Soccer Academy is delighted to announce that they have partnered with an exciting academy in London, England. Chelsea Rovers Football Club will now receive the coach education support of the soccer academy to help develop their coaches over the next three years!
Su Yong Park, sports director of Chelsea Rovers FC, said: "We are thrilled to have a partnership with the Celtic Soccer Academy, a genuine relationship with Scotland's premier football club.
“It is an honour to provide Celtic's know-how in coach education to our own coach education system called Coaches Training Hub, which we provide to Asian football coaches.
“We look forward to seeing young and promising coaches around the world grow with the Celtic Soccer Academy in the future."
Norbert Csorba, the club manager of Chelsea Rovers FC, said: "It’s a very exciting journey that we have embarked on, to educate the future generation of coaches together with the Celtic Soccer Academy.
“We trust that the collaboration between the two clubs will benefit in many ways our students and at the same time our players who play for the club.
“We believe that by creating the right environment where people feel supported, not judged, and are able to make mistakes, they will only strive and raise the level of their natural competencies.
“By providing a platform where coaches can express their vision, and practice what they have learned in a real-life situation, they will be able to shape themselves and their coaching philosophy in the complex environment of football, thanks to the professional guidance of Celtic Soccer Academy."
The long-term partnership between both clubs will involve the sharing of club methodologies through our coach-mentoring programme, access to our coaching curriculums, and will provide an opportunity for the coaches to travel to Scotland and receive a behind-the-scenes look at how Celtic develops young players to reach their potential.
Celtic’s International Soccer Academy manager, Jose Romero added: “We are absolutely delighted to announce our Coach Education partnership with Chelsea Rovers, our first partnership in London, emphasising once again our commitment to develop the game across the globe and across the UK.
“We are excited to work with the Chelsea Rovers coaches and help support their growth and development over the next three years.”
