Celtic want to keep striker Odsonne Édouard but Paris Saint-Germain could veto the deal and send him to Vitória Guimarães instead.
The Scottish champions swooped to land Edouard on deadline day last summer, signing him until the end of the season with an option to make the move permanent.
Despite sitting behind Moussa Dembélé and Leigh Griffiths in the pecking order, the 20-year-old has still contributed to an impressive eight goals in 25 games this season.
The Mail report that PSG sporting director Antero Henrique has been in talks with Vitória about a partnership between the clubs, which could see young players being sent to Portugal on loan to aid their development.
It’s believed that Brendan Rodgers wants to sign Édouard permanently but could be foiled in his attempts to secure the youngster’s signature on a permanent basis.
Celtic remain the favourites to sign Édouard however the links between PSG and Vitória could provide cause for concern.
