Known for being one of the biggest clubs in Scotland and one of the most successful domestic sides in the world, Celtic have dominated their league and cup competitions for decades.

Many of their most successful players rose from the club’s academy setup, with the likes of James Forrest, Callum McGregor and Aiden McGeady all making the grade at first-team level in recent years.

With a record transfer fee of just £9m for Odsonne Edouard in 2018, Celtic are not well-known for splashing the cash and making big-money purchases these days.
