Istanbul Basaksehir have announced the signing of controversial Celtic defender Boli Bolingoli on a season long loan.
The left-back was at the centre of major controversy last month when he took part in an unsanctioned day trip to Spain, breaking quarantine regulations to do so.
After being hit with a suspension and substantial fine from the club, Neil Lennon made it clear he would no longer be part of his plans.
And the Turkish side have now confirmed that the former Rapid Vienna man has joined them on loan for the 2020/21 campaign, which includes an option to make the move permanent.
It now leaves Celtic thin on the ground for left-back options after Daniel Church departed in midweek and Jonny Hayes’ contract wasn’t renewed.
