Celtic meltdown as Parkhead crumbles under Rangers’ pressure

It says something that for Rangers’ admittedly poor form this season, Celtic are so bad that Stavros’ men are slipping further behind in a deficit which somehow manages to be more severe than last season’s gulf at the same point.

In fact, Celtic last season were actually two points AHEAD at this point, before a storming run by Rangers from late September to early January saw a 100% win record and left Celtic for dead.

This Rangers this season, miles worse on the pitch than last season’s, leads Angie’s Celtic, with its £20M injection of player over a record-breaking summer spend for a Scottish club, by a colossal 6 points after only 7 matches.

This is simply impalpable. And absolutely bloody hilarious!

To spend £20M in the summer having made £40M on sales of out-of-form players and overhaul the whole team, and now trail a Rangers who spent literally zero in the transfer window and relied on Bosman deals shows just how much of a stark failure this Celtic revolution has been.

The memes were certainly out in force yesterday as our eastern friends slipped up yet again, dropping a further two points in what is looking a beautifully ugly season for them, and while Rangers’ form is hardly magical either, Stevie G’s side is getting the results when it matters.

For what it is worth we very much want Angie to remain at Parkhead, because somehow Celtic have appointed an even worse manager than Lennon, and after all the piffle from ex-Celtic people that Stavros was the world of management’s ‘best-kept secret’.

Yes in many ways he is, the rest of the world had no idea how bad he really was. Now we do!

Many argue Celtic are missing key players, well guess what, so are we, especially Ryan Jack.

And yet we top the table and face our nearest rivals Hearts and Hibs in the near future in critical top of the table clashes.

No, Celtic are literally plunging into the bottom 6, and we couldn’t be laughing harder at them.
