Celtic legend Scott Brown is reportedly considering his time at Aberdeen. The 36-year-old wasn’t included in Jim Goodwin’s side as they fell to a late defeat at Ibrox. The Daily Mail are reporting that Broony is considering his future at Pittodrie after, his pal, Stephen Glass was sacked.

Goodwin immediately limited Brown’s role in terms of coaching and this, combined with his perception of Brown not managing two games in a week, could see a further change in direction. The former Scotland Internationalist was interviewed to replace Goodwin in Paisley but Stephen Robinson got the St Mirren job. Now, Brown could face another move as he looks to continue playing for another season before hanging his boots up.

Glass managed to convince Brown to move from Glasgow’s East End to the North East in the summer with a view to taking on a player-coach role. Although after a Scottish Cup exit at the hands of Motherwell last weekend resulted in Glass being shown the door.

After 22 trophies with Celtic, Brown left Celtic to reunite with his former Hibernian teammate Glass at Aberdeen. With Glass out the door now, he may fancy a return to the central belt and potentially becoming a manager in his own right.
