The Scottish Premiership giants are now thought to be taking an interest in Abu Kamara, following his successful loan spell at Portsmouth.
Scottish Premiership side Celtic are now in the race with Hull City to recruit Norwich City attacker Abu Kamara.
This is according to Pete O'Rourke, who believes the Bhoys could potentially try and lure the player to Glasgow before the summer transfer window closes.
This isn't the first Norwich player that Brendan Rodgers' side have targeted this summer, with the club also desperate to get a deal over the line for Adam Idah.
It looks as though the Scottish side will succeed in their quest to bring Idah in, having struck a deal to take him back to Celtic Park.
The player registered nine goals in 19 competitive appearances for Rodgers' men during the second half of last season, with this loan spell allowing the Irishman to kickstart his career.
He now looks set to make the permanent move to Scotland - and Norwich will need to use this money to strengthen their attack - with fellow attacking asset Gabriel Sara also leaving Carrow Road this summer.
Jonathan Rowe's potential departure can't be ruled out either, with the England youth international currently the subject of interest from elsewhere.
Following a poor display against Oxford United last weekend, Johannes Hoff Thorup needs adequate replacements for those who have left and will leave the club before the end of the window.
Amankwah Forson put in an excellent shift against the U's in the middle of the park and was one of only a couple of Norwich players to shine at the Kassam Stadium, but some attacking additions will be required before the transfer window closes.
Having already struck a deal to recruit Idah, the Scottish top-tier side could deal the Canaries another blow by poaching Kamara, who was magnificent for Portsmouth during their 2023/24 promotion-winning campaign.
However, they aren't the only team in this race, with Pompey thought to be keen on a return and Hull City also interested in the player.
The Tigers are in need of more attacking firepower, with plenty of attackers leaving the MKM Stadium in recent months.
Not only has Jaden Philogene left, but Noah Ohio, Aaron Connolly, Billy Sharp and others have all departed the East Yorkshire side.
Sara registered 14 goals and 13 assists in all competitions last term and he alone will be difficult to replace.
Idah also looks set to move on, which is a blow, considering he could have been a real goalscoring asset during the 2024/25 campaign.
He looked fairly threatening against Oxford and was a decent wide player to have in the absence of Rowe.
Rowe will also be a big miss if he moves on - and that's why Norwich should be looking to make an extra effort to keep hold of their other attacking assets - including Kamara and Josh Sargent.
Kamara, who was out on loan last term, could help to replace one of their key attackers who have left/will leave.
