Celtic FC Foundation brought together supporters for a dazzling night of celebration and fundraising at our first ever Clover Ball, held on Friday, June 13 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central.

The event, which was generously sponsored by Archiplan Glasgow, saw around 200 guests in attendance - including former Celt, Tosh McKinlay - for a night to remember.

Our charismatic host, Edward Reid, delivered an evening of top-class entertainment, as his energy set the tone for a night filled with humour, fun and generosity.

Following a red carpet welcome and professional photo on arrival, guests heard from Foundation Chief Executive, Tony Hamilton, who expressed his gratitude to everyone in attendance and highlighted the importance of their support.

Guests then enjoyed a fabulous three-course meal, accompanied by close-up magic from the award-winning Mark Gordon and some Celtic classics performed by Edward, in his own inimitable style. The evening also featured a Live Auction, Silent Auction and Prize Draw, offering a range of fantastic prizes to bid on or win.

We were delighted to also be joined by the amazing Stephanie Drew, whose son, Sean, has been supported by the Foundation through a number of initiatives over the years, including Lions’ Lunch Breaks and Ability Counts. Stephanie told her very emotional and inspiring story, highlighting how pivotal the Foundation has been for her family.

The night was rounded off with a fabulous high-energy set from The Lovelles Band, who filled the dance floor with hit after hit until 1am.

Net proceeds from the Clover Ball will support Celtic FC Foundation’s mission to assist the most vulnerable in our communities, focusing on tackling poverty and promoting inclusion.

We would like to thank everyone who contributed to our inaugural Clover Ball, including our sponsor Archiplan Glasgow, Edward Reid, The Lovelles Band, Stephanie Drew, Mark Gordon, Tosh McKinlay, our print donor Bell and Bain, everyone who bid in our Live and Silent Auctions, everyone who donated a prize and each and every attendee, for their magnificent continued support.
