Following Dedryck Boyata’s departure earlier this summer, Celtic are in the market for a new central defender.
And reports in from Europe say that the Hoops have found their man in Dinamo Zagreb centre-back Amir Rrahmani.
Rrahmani is currently under contract with the Croatian side until 2021 and is apparently available for somewhere in the region of €2m.
But Neil Lennon’s side face competition from Standard Liege, with Belgian publication DH.be claiming that the two sides have lodged formal offers over the weekend.
The 25-year-old has played 22 times for Kosovo, scoring four goals and has been included in their squad for the Euro 2020 qualifiers.
