Celtic have been paired with KR Reykjavik in the first qualifying round for the 2020/21 Champions League.

The draw took place in Nyon on Sunday at lunchtime, with Uefa dividing it into five sections in order to ease the travel burden.

With the ties now one-legged affairs, the Hoops will take on Reykjavik at home as a result of being drawn out first.

Celtic have previously faced the Icelandic outfit in 2014 when they were forced to play at Murrayfield – winning 5-0 on aggregate, with Virgil van Dijk and Teemu Pukki both scoring braces during the return game in Edinburgh.

The tie will take place on 18 or 19 August and will require extra-time and/or penalties if the scores are level at full-time.

Winners will advance to the second qualifying round, while defeated sides drop into the same phase of the Europa League.
