On Tuesday, Celtic defender Anthony Ralston was in a motor vehicle collision about a mile from the club’s Lennoxtown training facilities.
Thankfully, all those involved avoided serious injury and Ralston did not require hospitalisation.
East Dunbartonshire Council tweeted out: “Police Scotland has closed the A891 from Scott Avenue, Milton of Campsie, through to the A803 Kilsyth Road between Kirkintilloch and Kilsyth due to a traffic collision.
“Traffic will be required to go to Milton of Campsie via Kirkintilloch.”
Ralston is most famous for clashing with Neymar during PSG’s 5-0 Champions League win at Celtic Park in September 2017.
Neymar refused to shake hands or swap shirts with the then-teenager after Ralston visibly got in the Brazilian’s head over the course of the match.
Ralston has appeared in three league matches this season, scoring once.
