At 33, Ambrose has a lot of playing left in him but he has already begun a gradual transition into life after football by coaching and helping young players come through at Livi. Ambrose left Celtic with 4 Premierships and 1 of each the League Cup and Scottish Cup.

Ambrose has played for Hibs, Livingston and St Johnstone since leaving Celtic in 2017. The former Nigerian Internationalist decided to stay in Scotland in order to gain citizenship for himself and his family and he is fondly remembered by the Celtic support. In truth, he was an excellent player when he first came to the club but suffered through fans getting on his back at various points.
