James Forrest has put pen to paper on a contract extension with Celtic which will keep him at the club until the summer of 2023.
The Scotland international’s previous deal had been due to expire at the end of the 2021/22 campaign.
But the club have confirmed that Forrest has agreed an extension on a new four-year contract, which likely includes improved terms.
The 28-year-old has only played for the Hoops, where he made his debut in May 2010 during Neil Lennon’s first spell in charge.
Since then, Forrest has been a regular and is in line to make his 370th appearance for the club on Wednesday night against St Mirren.
He has also scored 81 goals during that time and has picked up 17 domestic honours.
