Celtic and Rangers to battle for Charlton’s Joe Aribo

Charlton’s 22-year-old midfielder Joe Aribo is available on a free this summer and the two Scotland giants are both keen to sign him.

According to the Guardian, Celtic and Rangers are both joining the crowded race to land Aribo, who has scored 10 goals and distributed five assists in 37 League one contests this season.

Though Eintracht Frankfurt are said to be the favourites to land the London native, Southampton and Bournemouth are also said to be interested parties.

Aribo has been a key part of the Charlton midfield since his professional debut in December 2016, appearing in 95 games overall, with this season being by far his most productive.
