Celta Vigo striker Iago Aspas reveals Atletico and Real Madrid offers

Celta Vigo striker Iago Aspas admits he's long had offers to leave the club.

Aspas, now 34, signed for Celta in 2015.

And he now says that he previously attracted interest from rivals Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid.

"There were talks with Atletico Madrid when Antoine Griezmann moved to Barcelona. I still have a really good relationship with them," Aspas told El Larguero.

"I also know that Real Madrid were interested in me after the World Cup in Russia, but nothing happened. There was no official bid, so there were no more than a few calls."
