Mo Farah is one of the greatest long-distance runners ever, winning multiple gold medals at the London and Rio Olympics, as well as plenty more in the World Championships and the European Championships.

But away from his career, Farah has always been an Arsenal fan, supporting the club ever since he came to the United Kingdom at the age of eight.

When he moved back to London in 2017, the runner mentioned that the chance to watch Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium again was one of the primary things he was excited about.

Seven years later, Farah is watching Arsenal in a title race, and he was evidently not keen to miss the chance to see the team racking up another north London derby win away from home.

As for Matt Lucas, the actor and comedian has also never hidden his love for Arsenal, suggesting in 2017 that they are “the only tribe I don’t mind being a part of”.

Lucas was right in amongst the fans for Sunday’s derby, and it must have been a great day out for him and Farah in the end.
