Last season, Olimpia upset Major League Soccer sides Seattle Sounders and Montreal Impact to make the semi-finals, eventually falling to champions Tigres.

Of course, América also fell in the semi-finals, dropping a 3-1 contest against Carlos Vela and LAFC.

It’s widely expected that the seven-time champions will start Oscar Jiménez, Bruno Valdéz, Alonso Escoboza, Bryan Colula, Santiago Naveda, and Antonio López.
