Cavalier defeats Arnett Gardens to win Group A in Caribbean Cup | OneFootball

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Cavalier FC won 4-1 against Arnett Gardens FC in Group A of the 2024 Concacaf Caribbean Cup on Thursday at the National Stadium in Kingston, Jamaica.

Shai Smith placed Arnett Gardens in the lead in the 9' with a right-footed shot into the net, connecting on a ground pass across the penalty area from Marlon Allen.

Shaquille Stein tied the match in the 29' by connecting at the near post on a corner kick service from Dwayne Atkinson.

Jalmaro Calvin earned the lead for Cavalier in the 35’ with a header inside the box on a cross from Jaheem Frazer.

Dwayne Atkinson added a third for Cavalier in the 59' after stripping the defense and circumventing the goalkeeper to take a hit from outside the box.

Jalmaro Calvin sealed the Cavalier victory with a fourth goal in the 71’ with a right-footed strike inside the box.

Cavalier FC finished first place in Group A with a 3-0-1 record. The Jamaican side will face Moca FC, the runners-up of Group B, in the semifinals.

Arnett Gardens FC finished fifth in the group with a 0-1-3 record.
