As of 16:02, Catania was not assigned to an owner and a further court order will now decide whether to close the club down or grant the club an extension of time to find a new owner.
No one showed up today at the auction, even if the Lazio-based entrepreneur Benedetto Mancini had registered a company with a logo and organisation chart in the Chamber of Commerce, entering a share capital of €10 thousand euros and not the €500 thousand euros required by the regulation of the call.
