Here's the nominees for the award:

Darwin Nunez showed exactly why he was given the number nine jersey by Liverpool in the win over Newcastle United at St. James' Park back in August. The Uruguayan showed off his prowess in front of goal in the final 10 minutes of the game, curling past Nick Pope in the 81st minute and 93rd to complete a comeback for the Reds.

Aston Villa and Ollie Watkins put in plenty of fantastic performances throughout the 2023/24 Premier League season, but the one against Brighton was perhaps the pick of the bunch.Villa's rather stunning 6-1 win was inspired by the brilliance of Watkins, who netted a hat trick and an assist for his side on the day.

On October 7, Scott McTominay came off the bench at Old Trafford in the 87th minute of a game in which Man Utd were losing 1-0 to Brentford.10 minutes and two expert finishes later, McTominay had inspired Man Utd to a dramatic 2-1 win with goals in the 93d and 97th minute of the game.

4. Cole Palmer's hat-trick vs Man Utd

Cole Palmer has been a revelation at Chelsea this season, scoring an incredible number of goals from his attacking midfield position.During a particularly hot streak in front of goal in the spring, Palmer almost single-handedly won a remarkable game between Chelsea and Man Utd at Stamford Bridge - netting a hat trick in a dramatic 4-3 win.

After a spell on the sidelines, Kevin De Bruyne didn't take too long to get back up to speed on his return to the Man City squad. The creative midfielder came off the bench to net a goal and an assist to earn his side a vital three points at St. James' Park.

It’s probably fair to say that Stefan Ortega’s miraculous performance in the final 20 minutes of the game against Tottenham was one of the main reasons Manchester City won the Premier League for a record fourth-consecutive time. The goalkeeper made three fantastic saves in the 2-0 win, with his one to deny Heung-min Son being undoubtedly the pick of the bunch.
