Cassano relative arrested in Bari over alleged burglaries – report

Antonio Cassano’s half-brother Giovanni Cassano has been arrested in Bari along with seven others over a series of alleged gang-led home burglaries according to recent reports.

According to reports from La7 via TMW, Giovanni Cassano acted as the leader of the gang, who are said to be specialists in home burglaries.

The criminal group allegedly used stolen keys, or in other cases, were able to produce duplicate keys from photographs of the originals through connections with a local hardware store owner.

In October, Giovanni Cassano had assets valued at around €1m seized after a series of illegal activity, including theft, receiving stolen goods, robberies and extortion.
