Manchester United’s players celebrated long into the night after their FA Cup victory, but Casemiro made a quick exit from Wembley.

According to The Daily Mail, the squad partied into the night, but Casemiro appeared to skip the celebrations.

The Red Devils triumphed 2-1 over Manchester City, with goals from Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo securing the victory.

Despite being underdogs, Erik ten Hag’s side lifted the FA Cup for the 13th time, thwarting City’s bid for a domestic double.

While United’s stars took their celebrations from the Wembley dressing room to an after-party, Casemiro was noticeably absent.

Instead, the Brazilian midfielder was pictured on social media, jetting off on holiday with his family. His wife, Anna Mariana, shared a photo of the couple and their two children on a flight, captioned “gone on vacation.”

The 32-year-old has faced criticism, particularly towards the end of the season when he had to deputise at centre-back.

In a recent interview with Sky Sports, Casemiro responded to his critics, saying, “I was considered one of the best signings of the Premier League last season, and now I’m not worth anything anymore? The criticism is disrespectful.”

Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher recently suggested that Casemiro should consider a move to Saudi Arabia or MLS, stating, “He’s aging, the people around him need to tell him this has to stop. The football has left him at this top level; he needs to call it a day.”

Adding to the uncertainty, Casemiro was left out of Brazil’s Copa America squad, despite being named his country’s captain last year.

Although he arrived at Wembley with the United team, he was named on the bench but withdrew after suffering muscle tightness during the warm-up.

The club later confirmed his injury, although ESPN Brazil reported that Casemiro wasn’t injured.
