Los Blancos managed to grind out a 1-0 victory over Athletic Bilbao in midweek which will keep them in high spirits ahead of this league clash versus Imanol Alguacil’s men.

Carlo Ancelotti could opt for a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to make a couple of changes to his starting XI for this game. Both Dani Carvajal and Eduardo Camavinga might play from the start while Lucas Vazquez and Luka Modric drop to the bench.

Defence

The visiting side’s midfield could be comprised of Toni Kroos, Casemiro and Eduardo Camavinga as Ancelotti looks to rest Luka Modric on the bench. Both Casemiro and Eduardo Camavinga are one yellow card away from a suspension, so they would have to be careful not to pick up a caution this weekend.
