West Ham United are preparing to host Leicester City at home in a Premier League fixture this weekend. The former side took the better of mighty Arsenal in their previous game and will be carrying high confidence for sure.

The Hammers are 16th on the points table but have a comfortable 10 points lead from the relegation zone. It means that they can play without much pressure and try to yield a good result. They need to do the right things considering the tough fixtures ahead.

Defence

Alphonse Areola had little to do in the previous game and he wouldn’t mind that. He should be ready to don the gloves once again. The Hammers used a 5-3-2 formation but are likely to return to the four-man backline for this game.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka takes the right-back role while Emerson Palmieri provides his services from the left side. Maximilian Kilman and Jean-Clair Todibo form the heart of the defence this time.

Midfield

James Ward-Prowse and Tomáš Souček did well to dictate the game against the Gunners. No doubt that the duo will be deployed in the middle of the park once again.

Attack

Jarrod Bowen continues to operate on the right flank while Carlos Soler comes into the XI at the expense of Scarles for the left wing role. The hero of the last game, Mohammed Kudus is again playing as the attacking midfielder.

Graham Potter could use Evan Ferguson as the striker for this game.

Lucas Paqueta (ankle), Vladimir Coufal (hamstring), Michail Antonio (leg), Crysencio Summerville and Niclas Fullkrug (both hamstring) are all unavailable for selection.
