Lucas Vazquez has officially said goodbye to Real Madrid, and his farewell has touched the hearts of many fans, players, and coaches.

The 24-year-old, who spent years representing the club with pride, received countless messages on social media from people who wanted to show him their love and appreciation.

One of the most emotional messages came from former Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti. Now in charge of the Brazilian national team, Ancelotti did not miss the chance to thank Vazquez for his time at Real Madrid.

He wrote on social media, “Lucas, thank you for your commitment and for representing the values of Real Madrid so well. Good luck in your new role.”

Mbappe, Lunin and Marcelo join Vazquez for his final day

Lucas Vazquez chose to celebrate his farewell surrounded by family and close friends at Valdebebas.

Two current Real Madrid players, Kylian Mbappé and Andriy Lunin, made sure to be there for him. Despite being on holiday, they took time out of their schedules to support Lucas on his special day.

Mbappe’s presence surprised some people, especially since he has only shared the dressing room with Vazquez for one season.

However, the French star has built a strong friendship with the Real Madrid veteran and wanted to be by his side for this important moment. The two happily posed for photos together after the event, along with Lunin.

Another familiar face at the farewell was Marcelo. The former Madrid captain became emotional as he said goodbye to his old friend.

Marcelo and Vazquez shared many years together at the club, and their hug at the end of the ceremony was a touching reminder of the bond they built during their careers at Real Madrid.
