Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has on Sunday evening moved to lavish praise on Kylian Mbappé.
This comes fresh off nothing short of a spectacular individual display conjured up by the Frenchman.
Real Madrid marked their return to action a short time ago, ultimately emerging dominant 4-1 victors over Las Palmas in Spain’s capital.
Frontman Mbappé, for his part, was afforded his latest starting berth for the clash, and responded by way of arguably his finest performance in Blancos colours to date.
The 26-year-old notched a brace, as well as seeing a further goal disallowed for offside, en route to deserved Man of the Match honours on Sunday.
Speaking to the media on the back of the full-time whistle, it therefore came as little surprise when Mbappé’s name was quickly put to boss Carlo Ancelotti.
And Real Madrid’s headmaster did not hesitate in responding:
“Kylian Mbappé? The best centre-forward in the world.”
