Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has admitted that he has not yet come to a definitive decision on his starting XI for the upcoming Champions League final.

Real, of course, are fresh off seeing out their final fixture of the domestic campaign.

After welcoming Real Betis to the Spanish capital with the La Liga title long sewn up, Los Blancos sauntered through proceedings, en route to a goalless stalemate.

In truth, the matchup marked little more than a warm-up, for next weekend’s Champions League finale.

The capital giants will have a chance to add yet further to their record-setting haul of European titles next Saturday night, when they lock horns with Borussia Dortmund at Wembley Stadium.

Speaking to the media last night, it therefore came as little surprise when the subject of his selection plans was put to the aforementioned Carlo Ancelotti.

And though he was understandably keen not to get into any specifics, Real Madrid’s boss went on to admit that, as things stand, ‘doubts’ remain when it comes to his XI:

“I have some doubts ahead of the final.”
