Cardiff City duo Callum O'Dowda and Callum Robinson are attracting Championship interest following their relegation.

Cardiff City have been told they will be able to replace Callum O’Dowda and Callum Robinson if they leave the club this summer.
The Bluebirds endured a miserable campaign last time out, as they ultimately finished bottom of the Championship, which condemned them to third tier football for the first time in over 20 years.
Unsurprisingly, that has brought about change in the summer, with Brian Barry-Murphy named as the new boss who will be tasked with guiding Cardiff to promotion this season.
Naturally, for a relegated side, Cardiff will have to balance the books following relegation, and those funds can help Barry-Murphy bring in the players he wants as he tries to build a team in his own image.
So, departures are on the cards, and reports have claimed that O’Dowda and Robinson have interest from clubs in the Championship.
That won’t come as a shock, as the duo have spent the majority of their career at that level, so they are proven performers.
With promotion the aim, there will be an argument that Cardiff need to build around the likes of O’Dowda and Robinson, as they can help the team get results to bounce back.
Yet, when quizzed by FLW on the interest in the pair, and what sort of fee would be required to prise them away, Cardiff fan pundit Matt Hall insisted they are replaceable, as he indicated a combined £4m minimum for O’Dowda and Robinson would be decent business.
“Championship interest in those two does not surprise me. I’m not actively against selling them to be honest. They’re both probably at the age where they’ve just had the peaks of their careers.
“I think you could get £3-4m for Robinson considering he has two years left on his deal, and his goal record. That would be a good sale for us, we’ve got Yousef Salech already.
“With O’Dowda, you’re probably looking at £1m to £1.5m. He has three years on his deal, which I don’t really think we should have given him, it’s a bit too long. He’s in a situation where he may not be technical enough for Barry-Murphy’s system, but also he is a mix of a left-back or left-winger, but not a specialist in either position, so we could probably do better.
“I think when you take that into account, and those prices, they would be good deals for us. We’re going to have to offload some. Mehmet Dalman has already said that, as some money needs to come in, and if it were to be those two I think it would be perfectly acceptable, as we probably have ready-made replacements at the club.”
Many Bluebirds fans will welcome a summer of change, as what went on last season, from the players to the management, and, of course, the hierarchy, just wasn’t acceptable.
The appointment of Barry-Murphy was a bold one, and it’s now about supporting him as much as possible, even if he wants to make major changes.
If that means some senior figures could depart, then that has to happen. Equally so, if the manager wants O’Dowda and Robinson to stick around, then other players can depart.
