The draw for the Carabao Cup quarter-finals has been made following this week’s fourth-round action.
Tottenham Hotspur will welcome Manchester opposition to North London for the second successive round.
Spurs eliminated Manchester City on Wednesday night with a 2-1 win at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, as goals from Timo Werner and Pape Matar Sarr earned progress for Ange Postecoglou’s side. The North Londoners will host Manchester United in the pick of the quarter-final ties, after the Red Devils eased past Leicester City in round four.
Arsenal will host Crystal Palace in a London Derby at the Emirates, while holders Liverpool travel to Southampton. The Reds won 3-2 at Brighton in an entertaining encounter this week that saw Cody Gakpo on target twice.
Newcastle, who beat last season’s runners-up Chelsea to reach the quarter-finals, host Brentford in the other tie.
The fixtures will be played in the week commencing December 16th. The two-legged semi-final ties will take place week commencing January 6th 2025 and February 3rd 2025, with the final scheduled for Sunday March 16th.
