Union Berlinâs rise to the top European competition has been a story for the ages, and their tale continues on Tuesday.
After falling 1-0 in their Champions League opener in Madrid, the Bundesliga club hosted their first-ever match at the Olympiastadion.
And in front of almost 75,000 home fans, captain Sheraldo Becker rose to the occasion.
Not one, but two, brilliant counter-attacks helped the 28-year-old rush his side into the lead.
The goals were seven minutes apart, led to two brilliant celebrations and the first featured a clever nutmeg through Braga goalkeeper Matheus.
It was a history-making moment from none other than Captain Fantastic.
The second goal led to Becker leaving the pitch and running over to be face-to-face with Union Berlin fans in celebration.
It clearly means so much to them both.
