Growth, charisma, and what it means to be Juventus: all of these things are present in the words - and the eyes - of Alessia Capelletti as she tells us how she feels after renewing her Juventus Women contract until 2028, just months after her signing.

“I don’t even realise that I’ve been here for under six months and I’m already at this point,” Alessia says. “I’ve felt at home from day one, and that’s something I didn’t expect at all. I had goals of growth when I got here - both footballing and personal goals - and some of them I managed to achieve so quickly that I feel as though my career is beginning now.

“I’m always setting new goals, because Juventus has given and is giving me a version of this job and career that I’ve never experienced before. The trust I’ve felt here helps me to reach my full potential. I’ve seen myself grow, physically and psychologically. I’ve accepted that I’ll play less here, but being here allows me to get as close as I can to my best version, and to understand how far I can still go. I’m always looking to be more and more ready, and more available for the team.

THE CHARISMA FACTOR

“To experience football and the team in a certain way is something that has always been normal to me. I’m honoured by how the coach and teammates have considered me.

“Football is a team sport, which we all experience together. The human aspect, collaboration, comparison and mutual help are all the basis. I grew up with this imprinted on me: you can never lack the attitude, character, personality, because those things make a difference. Not only that, there can’t be anything that stops you from thinking you can go further, that you can win, that you can outdo yourself."
