The 2024/25 Serie A season will finish with Juventus Women as champions of Italy, and it couldn’t close in a better way - the Bianconere host Inter at the Allianz Stadium on Saturday night for their final game of the campaign. Kick-off in Turin is fixed for 20:30 CEST.

Not only is it the last game of the season and the game after which the Bianconere will raise their sixth Scudetto to the sky, but it will also be captain Sara Gama’s last league game for the club, having announced her retirement.

Ahead of the big game, coach Massimiliano Canzi spoke.

“The right word to describe tomorrow? Celebration. It’s the top two teams in the league facing off. Inter will be out there with us tomorrow after a great season of their own, and neither of us can move place in the table, se we’re expecting a really good game and, a celebration, and all in a great setting. We want to put on a good performance and we’re sure that Inter do too, to make those who come to the Allianz Stadium feel good and as though they’ve been entertained, because even the best of writers couldn’t have imagined an ending to the season this good.”

THE SEASON ISN’T FINISHED YET

“The whole group is focused not only on tomorrow and Inter, but on the huge appointment that awaits us the week after - the Italian Cup final in Como.”

SARA GAMA’S LAST GAME

“I’m proud and happy to be Sara Gama’s coach when she will bow out of the game. She was the first player I met on my arrival here, we had an hour-long chat in which she made me understand what women’s football and Juventus are all about. What can I say about a person like Sara? She’s a person of huge depth, a person before a football player. I appreciate and admires much about her, but above all her honesty - it’s a gift, and it’s one of the things that has allowed her to become a real icon of the whole women’s football movement, as well as being a symbol of commitment, depth, charisma and inclusivity. She has never got a word, attitude or message wrong. I’m pleased to have been able to get to know her and to have worked with her in her last season as a player, although I’m certain she’ll remain in the sport.”
