Norwich City‘s fantastic winning streak came to an end just before the international break when they were held to a 1-1 draw by West Bromwich Albion at Carrow Road.
Following a shaky start to the 2022-23 Championship campaign, which saw them pick up just one point out of a possible nine, but six league victories in a row catapulted the Canaries up into the automatic promotion spots not too long after there was fear from supporters that things may go wrong.
Dean Smith’s side went into the international break trailing Sheffield United at the top of the table by three points, but there is a good chance to get back to winning ways when they make the long trip from Norfolk to Lancashire on Saturday afternoon to face Blackpool at Bloomfield Road.

How is Smith going to line his side up though? Let’s take a look.
There isn’t the need to make too many changes against the Tangerines despite a draw last time out, with several players having injuries heal up during the international break.
Neither Andrew Omobamidele or Grant Hanley joined up with their respective national sides in order to fix their issues, and both should be back fit and ready for Saturday.
Sam Byram will continue to deputise at left-back due to the absences of Sam McCallum and Dimitris Giannoulis, with the selection dilemmas coming further up the pitch.
Brazilian midfielder Gabriel Sara made his first Norwich start against West Brom and could feasibly remain in the starting 11, although Aaron Ramsey could move into the engine room instead.
Ramsey has three assists to his name already this season since joining on loan from Aston Villa, but he could make way in this particular fixture for Todd Cantwell, who started on the bench against the Baggies and only made a late cameo appearance.
It’s unlikely that Teemu Pukki and Josh Sargent will be rested though, with the two combining so far for nine league goals, with USA international Sargent netting six of them.
