Canada name squad for Women's World Cup

Canada have officially announced their squad for the Women’s World Cup.
Bev Priestman has picked a 23-woman selection for the finals in Australia and New Zealand, captained by their all-time top scorer and cap holder Christine Sinclair.
This is the eighth straight tournament that the Canadians have qualified for, with their best result to date being the quarter-finals in 2015, in which they were the host nation.
Here is the squad in full:
Goalkeepers: Kailen Sheridan, Lysianne Proulx, Sabrina D’Angelo
Defenders: Jayde Riviere, Gabrielle Carle, Kadeisha Buchanan, Vanessa Gilles, Ashley Lawrence, Shelina Zadorsky, Allysha Chapman
Midfielders: Simi Awujo, Sophie Schmidt, Julia Grosso, Jessie Fleming, Quinn
Forwards: Christine Sinclair, Olivia Smith, Evelyne Viens, Deanne Rose, Adriana Leon, Jordyn Huitema, Nichelle Prince, Cloé Lacasse
Canada will kick off their Group E campaign against Nigeria on 21 July.
