The Canadian Men's National Team have announced they'll face Bahrain on November 11 in another pre-World Cup friendly.
John Herdman's side are preparing for the nation's first men's World Cup campaign since 1986, which they'll begin against Belgium on November 23.
Before then, the CanMNT already have a friendly against Japan in Dubai on November 17, while they've now added a further tune-up against Bahrain at Al-Khalifa Stadium (9:30 am ET) six days earlier.
“Bahrain have graciously agreed to host us, which provides the team with an opportunity to both acclimate to the Middle Eastern conditions and to gain important minutes at an international intensity," head coach Herdman said in a release.
Canada will arrive in Bahrain a week prior to the friendly with a group expected to be made up mostly of MLS players. Many players from the league have already finished their seasons in teams that failed to reach the MLS Cup Playoffs.
For the likes of CF Montreal's Alistair Johnston and LAFC's Maxime Crepeau, their season could run until November 5 as they contest the Playoffs.
After finishing above the United States and Mexico to top the Concacaf World Cup qualifying group, Canada have been drawn alongside Belgium, Croatia, and Morocco in Group F.
