There has been a huge Chelsea transfer rumour come out this Wednesday afternoon that has really got the Chelsea fan base on strings!

EXCLUSIVE! Premier League striker WANTS Chelsea move!

They want to sign a new attacker or two, one of which is a new striker – and they have been linked with so many potential new names for a while now. There’s been some real sporadic names and completely different profiles and age profiles that the club have been looking at and even trying to sign. It’s all been rather mad and very confusing.

And now, in the latest instalment of Chelsea’s weird striker search, they have made an enquiry to sign Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak in news that came from nowhere just when Blues fans were accepting that they were not going to be making any big name signings this summer after losing out on signing Michael Olise from Crystal Palace.

Insider backs up the news

Well connected Chelsea insider Alex Goldberg has backed up this news on his X account, simply posting the above not long ago.

Goldberg says: “Can confirm… there’s interest in Isak. Won’t be easy, but we’ve reached out…”

I can’t see it being easy at all and in fact, very far from easy, if not impossible. Why would Newcastle even entertain selling their best player and a world class one at that? I just don’t think they would.

But as we know, money talks in this game and if Chelsea really want to sign the player and are prepared to put enough money down to do so, then anything is possible of course.

As Alex says though, it wont be easy!
