Jack Harrison will “definitely” replace Raphinha in the Leeds United starting XI against Liverpool if the Brazilian is ruled out of the clash.

That is according to former Arsenal and Everton striker Kevin Campbell, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about Raphinha, 24, potentially missing Monday night’s clash through injury.

The £17million summer signing suffered a knock in Marcelo Bielsa’s side’s unexpected 2-1 win over Manchester City last weekend and is in a race to be fit to face Liverpool at Elland Road tomorrow.

Speaking ahead of the match, Bielsa revealed the club to assess the winger’s availability over the ‘next couple of days’.

A post from Raphinha on Instagram could hint towards the attacker being fit to face the Reds on Monday but it may also be part of a marketing campaign.

When asked for his assessment of the early team news coming out of Elland Road, Campbell told Football Insider:

“One thing you know about Leeds is that whoever is playing, you are in for a game against them. They go man-for-man around the whole pitch. They play in a very different system to other sides.

“Raphinha is a real handful and while it would be a blow if he is out, somebody else will come in and fill the void if need be.

“I am sure that man will be Harrison, definitely. He is a great player and he’s done very well this season. I really like him.

“I expect another exciting game, just like the first game of the season.”
