Camp Nou has officially been renamed Spotify Camp Nou as a new partnership between Barcelona and the global music streaming platform comes into effect.

Barcelona announced the deal with Spotify, reported to be worth €280m, in March this year. The club’s recently launched home and away kits for the 2022/23 season feature the company’s name and logo on the front and will do for four years until 2026.

Spotify will also sponsor the training kit until 2025, while the naming rights part of the deal has now kicked in following the official end of the 2021/22 season on 30 June.

As part of the Camp Nou renaming, a new façade with Spotify branding adorns the front of the stadium. Players from both the men’s and women’s team feature - Pedri, Mapi Leon, Ansu Fati, Alexia Putellas, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Aitana Bonmati.

Describing the naming rights, a Barça statement explains: “It will continue through the ambitious plan to restructure the entire Spotify Camp Nou as part of the Espai Barça project, whereby FC Barcelona will be converting its facilities and environs into a brand new world class entertainment experience that will be open to the whole city of Barcelona.”

In addition to the outside of the stadium, Spotify branding will be visible inside, on seats, on both sets of benches and at pitch level.
