Callum McGregor set to make his 500th appearance as Celtic take on Motherwell | OneFootball

Callum McGregor will make his 500th appearance for Celtic today (Sunday) when he leads out the team against Motherwell at Fir Park.

It’s another impressive milestone for the Celtic captain, who joins a select group of players who have reached 500 games for the Hoops in the course of the club’s long and illustrious history.

And the skipper will be hoping to mark the occasion with three points this afternoon against Motherwell.

Brendan Rodgers has made four changes to the side which played Aston Villa on Wednesday night in the UEFA Champions League, with Anthony Ralston, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Luke McCowan and Daizen Maeda all starting.

And there’s also a place on the bench for Portuguese winger, Jota, who returned to the club earlier this week.
