Calhanoglu’s agent Gordon Stipic: “Hakan will play with Inter next season” | OneFootball

After plenty of drama and speculation swirling around the Turkish international’s future at the Nerazzurri, the agent of Hakan Calhanoglu has shut down the rumours of a potential exit for the former Milan midfielder from Inter.

Following a fall-out between the club captain Lautaro Martinez and the 31-year-old, rumours began to fan out that Hakan desired a move back to Turkey, with meetings having been held with Galataseray and Fenerbahce in order to make a potential departure.

However, whilst being interviewed on Turkish news-outlet TRT, Gordon Stipic, the agent of Hakan, has cooled down the rumours of an exit and has vowed the Turkish international’s loyalty to Inter.

“Hakan will wear the Inter jersey next season,” Stipic commenced. “There have been no meetings with any of the clubs mentioned. We haven’t had any discussions with Fenerbahçe. I can say we haven’t even met with Galatasaray: the rumors are unfounded.“There are many phone calls and contacts underway. It’s normal for this to happen, but at this stage, we need clearer and more fluid communication between decision-makers,” as relayed by La Gazzetta dello Sport.
