Hakan Çalhanoğlu’s swollen ankle is getting better and he could be ready already for Monday.

The 26-year-old suffered an ankle injury in training three days ago and was due to miss three games with a swollen ankle.

The first indications were that he would miss at least three games and be out for 10 days. However, a day after the 3-1 win over Celtic, which Milan got without Çalhanoğlu, some positive news arrived from Milanello about the condition of Hakan.

As reported by Sky Italia, Hakan is doing therapy and two training sessions a day in order to return from injury as soon as possible. In fact, his ankle already hurts less and there is some hope that would be available on the bench against Roma at Stadio San Siro on Monday evening.

Stefano Pioli has several options and tactical solutions to cope with the absence of Hakan, who has proved himself to be an incredibly important part of the team.
