Inter have identified two defensive options that would be cheaper than others who have been linked, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Tuttosport today, the two layers in question are Marseille defender Duje Caleta-Car and FC Zurich’s Becir Omeragic.

Inter know very well that they need to add one more defender to the squad because they have not replaced the depth that Andrea Ranocchia brought to the team now that he has moved on to Monza.

Duje Caleta-Car is 25 years old and he will be out of contract in 2023. For that reason, he is only valued at around €10 million. Becir Omeragic is only 20 years old and it is thought that it would take a fee of around €8 million to bring him to the club.

Both of those deals would be affordable for Inter now that Andrea Pinamonti is set to be sold to Sassuolo.
