Former Newcastle United U23 coach Gary Caldwell is moving to Manchester City.
Caldwell is set to join Manchester City's academy set-up as a loan coach just three weeks after taking the Newcastle U23s job from Chris Hogg, says ChronicleLive.

Caldwell has had stints in management with Chesterfield and Partick Thistle and is now set to join the Citizens to fill the void they has been left empty Joleon Lescott departed the role to form part of Lee Carsley's England under-21 backroom staff.
The 39-year-old is a product of Newcastle academy but failed to make an appearance for the first team, instead enjoying a long career with the likes of Celtic and Wigan Athletic.
