Cagliari working on Radja Nainggolan return | OneFootball

Cagliari are working on the potential return to Sardinia for their former midfielder Radja Nainggolan.

Nainggolan is currently a free agent following his exit from Belgian side Royal Antwerp. There has been talk about his potential return to Cagliari this month but there seems to be something concrete about it.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported that his move back to Sardinia is now a real possibility and his return to the club could well materialise soon. It could prove to be the second consecutive return to the club in recent days, as Claudio Ranieri has also come back to the side recently.

Having said that, it will be Nainggolan’s fourth stint at the Sardegna Arena, where he had spent time from 2010 to 2014 and later joined in the 2019/20 season. He was also at the club from January to June, 2021. It was also one of the very first clubs where the Belgian truly made a mark before joining Roma.
